1) We endeavor to provide to the
public with an alternative to the mass of modernist, "screw and bolt
style" commercial jewelry sights on the web. We want to provide
individualized creations for those looking for more than gimmick jewelry,
logo jewelry or a piece of machined rock unimaginatively attached to a
machined band. We hope to emphasize craft as well as just crass profit.
2) We also hope to reacquaint the
discriminating public with the all but lost jeweled art of engraved gems, hard
stone (hardstone) cameos and intaglios. We offer for sale a selection of fine
hard stone (agate) cameos and intaglios from the 19th and early 20th
centuries. We will also offer, as we can find them, a few modern examples of
the gem engravers art if they reflect the quality of their earlier brethren.
3) Finally we offer to our customers,
with an interest in such items, a limited collection of small and interesting
Grand Tour bronzes and related metal art objects.
